Create A New Lifecycle
All you need to know so you can start creating new Lifecycles
We recommend that you move any existing, more complex, automation into Lifecycles. This will help you gain a much better overview of what you are already doing.
If you don’t have any automation already set-up, don’t worry, here is the perfect place to start.
Open up Lifecycles from the CRM menu.
Select New Lifecycle from the top right and follow the on-screen prompts;
Choose from the templates that we have already defined for you, customise a template or choose to build your own lifecycle from scratch.
Each template comes with a handy guide to help you get the most out of it.
By selecting a template, you'll find defined events inside the lifecycle that are already set-up. However, you can still delete, modify and add new events to your liking.
Once you've selected the template, it's time to define the entry conditions for the lifecycle. These are pre-populated with conditions according to the template you have selected.
Regardless of the template and conditions you choose, it is always possible to make changes and define new conditions for the trigger and segment.
It is possible to preview, edit or create new for the trigger and segment.
The name you give to your lifecycle is very important. It should reflect what can be found inside the lifecycle and summarise what is defined in the lifecycle entry conditions (template, trigger and segment). It needs to be clear to the rest of your team what can be found inside.
Example: Depending on how you want to organise your lifecycles, here is an example of how you should name clearly:
NRC - NDC / SE Players
Review all conditions to ensure the lifecycle settings are defined correctly and start building.
Here you can follow the workflow for creating a new lifecycle project. In this example we set up a new lifecycle project to lead our newly registered Swedish players to their first deposit.
Note: Your new lifecycle will automatically open and create version 1 that will be In Dev status
